Discover your green thumb and contribute to the beauty of Norton by joining the City of Norton's Adopt-A-Spot initiative. This program invites businesses, civic groups, and individuals to sponsor a spot for $100, earning recognition with their name on a plaque displayed at the chosen location. Spots are strategically situated across Norton, including key entry points to the city, offering opportunities for floral enhancements maintained by dedicated caretakers throughout the summer. Caretakers, often civic groups or individuals, volunteer to plant, water, and weed these areas, fostering community pride without requiring a donation. Their names are showcased alongside sponsors, fostering a sense of ownership and appreciation. Each year, planting activities commence after Memorial Day, thanks to the generous support of Dayton Nurseries and Springtime Flowers in partnership with the City of Norton. If you have any questions or would like to explore available spots, please contact Emma Hutchison at the City of Norton. She can be reached at 330-825-7815, ext. 314 or ehutchison@cityofnorton.org. Join us in cultivating a more vibrant Norton!
